A beautiful Arena - cold food and poor CS
We arrived at least 1 1/2 hour before the start of the game to walk around and see what was there to eat, drink, and views from around the arena. It was the first time we went to a Ricky Skaggs game with my wife, and in the new arena. We wanted to walk around and get something to eat, drink, and see the views from around the arena.
We got our food about 1 hr and 15 minutes before game time, and the food was barely warm from being under the heat lamps from 2 different food places. We arrived at least 1 1/2 hour before the start of the game so that we had lots of time to walk around and get something to eat.
Our seats were in the 2nd level. The game itself was not very exciting as the play that night was poor. There are no cup holders and no leg room. Bottom line, my wife and I are not looking forward to events at the new arena as the ushers are told to keep people moving and aren't to check out to fully appreciate what the new arena has to offer.
We stopped in the Bud Light area where there is a long rail for people to eat. I stepped up at the end of the rail next to someone sitting there to see what the view was like from there. The usher was quick to let us know within 10 -15 seconds that we couldn't be standing there because he had to keep the opening to the stairs clear.
We to walking around some more, and one of the ushers was great in letting us know that we could go down to the floor to watch practice up close. I had stepped out of the spot, so my wife took a look within the time that the usher it took for the usher to rush over to let us know that had to keep moving to keep the small opening in the rail to the stairs open. I told him that we were just checking out the view.
This was an hour before game time, and we just stopped long enough to check out the view.
